More about Téleah
I created Forever Family Therapy in response to an unmet need in the Central Oregon Community which is specialized and effective mental health treatment for unique families including kids, teens and young adults. There is especially a gap in services for youth struggling with trauma, adoptive & foster youth, and families struggling with intergenerational poverty and navigating the school system. I have experience & training in treating the following:
Depression & Anxiety (Generalized, Social, Separation)
Trauma & PTSD
Behavioral Challenges & Emotional Regulation Difficulty
Suicidal Ideation/Attempt & Self-Harm
LGBTQ+ Specific Individual & Family Issues
My educational focus was in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Development and Social Work. I graduated with Honors from both Corban University (BS, 2013) and Eastern Washington University (MSW, 2016) and believes that my youthfulness as a therapist combined with the latest knowledge and unique ability to engage with youth is the best way to supporting kids and families in their journey to alleviate mental health symptoms and become more unified.
I have both experience and training in specialized safety plans and supporting families in times of mental health crisis. My treatment approaches are based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Collaborative Problem Solving and Mindfulness. I approach therapy as a family system and understands the importance of every young person having someone they can talk to that they trust. I look forward to hearing from you!
