More About Shauna
Shauna McDonough received her Master’s degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley in 2001 and has over 15 years experience serving children and families. She worked for the Superior Court in California providing assessments and recommendations for guardianships and step parent adoptions. She was certified in Mediation to support families going through the court system process for custody agreements.
Because of her extensive experience in DHS Child Welfare as a Foster Care and Adoption Certifier she is passionate about working with potential or current adoptive parents. Her certification in Trauma-Focused CBT allows her to ability to support families struggling with trauma or mental health crises.
